Neural Ballet - Open Call for Choreography Submissions
As a part of The Provocation Idea Festival, this new project titled "Neural Ballet" is a live dance performance enriched with AI-generated visuals. This new work is a collaboration of the artistic minds of professional ballet dancer and award-winning choreographer Irina Lerman, and innovative software artist Ryan Kelln.
We are seeking choreography submissions to be featured in an upcoming performance in Stratford, ON. this November. Please note, this is for completed works only.
Submitted choreographic work will be reviewed and selected by the artistic committee. This group is composed of Mark Rosenfeld (Provocation Ideas Festival Founding Director), Irina Lerman (Ballet Artist, Choreographer, Coach), and Ryan Kelln (Software Artist).
Details and Stage Requirements:
Stage dimensions: 16x32 dance space
Maximum of 6 dancers on stage.
Maximum 15 min work.
- An honorarium will be provided based on length of the work and amount of the dancers.
- Videography will be provided at no additional cost.
- Choreographers are responsible for the costumes and rehearsal time.
- Transportation stipend subject to negotiation.
